What this statement covers
This statement applies to the website at deepbyte.ca, run by DeepByte. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it. That means you should be able to read every word of it as real text, move through it with a keyboard alone, use it with a screen reader, and turn the moving parts down or off.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What is in place
- Real headings and landmarks. Every chapter is a section with its own heading, and the page has one main region.
- Skip links. The first two Tab presses on any page reach “Skip to content” and “Experience settings”.
- Keyboard chapter navigation. The chapter rail and every link and control can be reached and used with a keyboard, and focus is always visible.
- Captions for the film and for the voice concierge, shown as text on the page while they speak.
- The Motion control in the Experience panel, with three settings: full, calm and still. It starts from your operating system’s reduced motion setting and remembers your choice.
- Sound off by default. Nothing plays until you turn it on, and the control to turn it off again stays in the header.
- Live regions. Finished captions are announced by screen readers; streaming text is not, so it never talks over you.
- No cookies on the public site, and no third-party trackers.
Known limits
- The field of light behind the page is decorative. It has no text alternative beyond the page itself, which carries all of the content.
- Live calls with the concierge need a microphone and a modern browser. The text concierge covers the same ground without either.
- Captions for the film and the concierge come from the model’s transcript and can contain mistakes.
- We have not yet had an external audit. The checks so far are our own.

How this statement was prepared
This statement was last reviewed on 27 October 2026. The review consisted of keyboard navigation through every page and automated checks in headless Chromium. We will update this page when the site changes in a way that affects accessibility.
